I have a wonderful husband – his name is Luke. We’ve been married for 5 years now!

 

We have four gorgeous little boys! Caleb is 4, our twins Micah and Jacob are 2, and Benjamin was just born this past August (2016).

 

 

Luke has been in the military for going on iqoption 7 years now. He was active duty Air Force for 6 years and is now Air National Guard.

I began this blog after reading the Wife After God: Drawing Closer to God & Your Husband devotional (affiliate link-see disclosure) by the Unveiled Wife. That devotional completely changed my life! It taught me how to begin a relationship with God and how to put God at the center of my marriage. The impact this devotional made on my life has been so HUGE that I felt an instant calling to share it with every wife out there (military or not)!

Marriage is marriage no matter who is involved so I invite EVERY wife out there to stay a while so we can all learn from each other how great God’s design of marriage is! 🙂

This page is also a way for me to reach out to other military wives and encourage them to pursue God in their lives and their marriages so deployments, TDYs, short tours, etc. aren’t as upsetting as they tend to be. I want other military wives to know that through God military marriages can still grow, thrive, and you can even become closer to each other even while separated.

I thank God He grabbed my attention through this devotional because I am learning more and more how incredibly important it is not only to have Him in my life but also to KNOW Him! Having a relationship with Him is the absolute best thing for me, for my marriage, and for my family.

I hope to encourage other women who visit this page to find hope for their marriages and lives and become a wife after God as well!
